Segula Technologies is looking for a Technical Lead – Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) / Grid Codes to drive the definition and validation of electrical interoperability requirements between vehicles, charging equipment, and the distribution grid. As the technical expert on our V2G Europe Deployment project, you will translate complex European grid regulations into actionable product specifications.
What You'll Do
- Decrypt national Grid Codes across Europe to extract critical technical parameters.
- Define the technical requirements for the 'Generator' mode of the V2G system.
- Analyze logical interfaces of Distribution System Operators (DSOs) for injection control protocols like Stop Injection and Power Modulation.
- Ensure accurate mapping between Grid requirements and the ISO 15118-20 protocol.
- Define Hardware constraints (I/O, Shutter, Metering) that impact the design of the charging station.
- Write detailed technical parameterization sheets for each of the 9 target countries.
What We're Looking For
- A Bac+5 engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnics.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of confirmed experience in solar inverters, energy storage, or charging infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of EN 50549 standards and European Grid Codes.
- Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SunSpec, IEC 61850, and ISO 15118.
- Mandatory fluent English for work in an international context.
- Demonstrated rigor, autonomy, and strong synthesis skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of one of the following languages: Danish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Norwegian, or Spanish.
