Fidelity International is looking for a Technical Lead to join our technology service team. You will apply your mobile development expertise to design and implement applications using React Native, guiding teams through complex challenges and collaborating with stakeholders across China and Canada.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop React Native mobile applications.
- Define and implement best practices for mobile app development, including performance optimization and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to standards.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure robust testing practices.
- Address technical challenges and provide solutions for complex issues.
- Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and recommend improvements.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in mobile development, with commercial mobile app design and delivery experience.
- Deep understanding of the React Native framework and ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD build pipelines and deployment processes.
- Good business English skills are required (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and cloud services.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with native iOS or Android development.
