Fehr Graham, a Trilon Group company, seeks an experienced Technical Copywriter to produce clear, precise, and well-structured documentation. You will transform complex technical information into accessible, user-friendly content tailored for a wide range of audiences, including marketing materials.
What You'll Do
- Deliver polished, brand-consistent messaging across marketing channels, adapting style and tone for diverse audiences and content formats.
- Review, edit, proofread, and manage document updates, versioning, and continuous improvements.
- Develop, revise, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, requirements, release notes, APIs, and internal procedures.
- Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and project teams to gather requirements and ensure technical accuracy.
- Research systems, workflows, and standards related to civil and aviation infrastructure.
- Ensure documentation complies with regulatory, industry, and organizational standards.
- Maintain consistency through style guides, templates, and terminology standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in an engineering-focused environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and formats (e.g., MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Markdown, Confluence, XML/DITA, or similar).
- Experience writing for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Background or experience in engineering, especially civil engineering or aviation/airport infrastructure.
- Knowledge of airport systems, including runways, taxiways, airfield lighting, pavement design, or related domains.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in engineering, civil infrastructure, or aviation.
