Vantage is looking for a Technical Content Writer to create growth-oriented content that drives top-of-funnel pipeline. You will analyze cloud infrastructure patterns, identify cost optimization opportunities, and produce high-quality content for engineering and finance professionals. At Vantage, we are passionate about building a cloud cost transparency platform.
What You'll Do
- Stay on top of the latest news from AWS, Azure, GCP, and others to find compelling topics, especially around cost optimization.
- Draft and share blog posts, quarterly reports, and Cloud Cost Handbook articles.
- Work with our design team on graphics for content.
- Collaborate with marketing teams at partner organizations on shared content pieces.
- Turn ideas from sales and product teams into working drafts.
- Analyze content performance and iterate on copy, topics, and publishing tactics to drive demo requests and sign-ups.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of content creation, ideally for companies targeting developers and technical users.
- Genuine interest and passion for the topics you cover, with aspirations for widely consumed content.
- Metrics-driven and analytical by nature, with a habit of reviewing progress via tracking reports.
- Seeking to always improve as a writer and interested in the craft of technical writing.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with users.
- Self-managing and motivated in a high-autonomy position.
- A kind person.
Nice to Have
- Ability to write simple SQL and perform data analysis to provide hard data backing up topics.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS, with an understanding of good web layout.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure as an industry and DevOps as a profession.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for the web and social media.
Team & Environment
You'll join a small-but-mighty technical writing team within the marketing team at Vantage, a company of about 60 employees.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in New York City.
