MIT Lincoln Laboratory is hiring a Tech Staff Systems Analyst for its Human Health & Performance Systems Group. This role involves leading systems analysis projects for complex human systems, including neurocognitive and operational medical systems, to address critical questions in human health and performance.
What You'll Do
- Participate in and eventually lead systems analysis projects related to neurocognitive systems, operational medical systems, and other complex human systems.
- Develop models and simulations in coordination with stakeholders to incorporate operational constraints, requirements, and concepts of operation.
- Support the design, prototyping, and field testing of prototype health & performance systems.
- Work in a team environment to study a broad range of technical questions of importance to human health & performance.
- Interact with potential sponsors and collaboratively generate new program ideas as experience is gained.
- Conduct systems analysis activities including data analysis, mathematical/statistical modeling, algorithm development, and modeling of technologies and human systems within a mission scenario context.
What We're Looking For
- A Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, General Engineering, Physics, or a related scientific field.
- In lieu of a Ph.D., a master’s degree with 5+ years of directly related experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated skills in scientific writing and/or development and presentation of technical materials to varied audiences.
- Experience programming in MATLAB and/or Python.
Nice to Have
- Experience in modeling and simulation.

- Compensation: Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $145,200 - $170,000; Experienced Hiring Range: $145,200 - $220,000
