About the Role
Lead the design and implementation of core web features and Chrome extensions, guiding engineering decisions while collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of core web applications
- Own technical direction for Chrome extension projects
- Collaborate with product managers to define roadmap priorities
- Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews
- Ensure high standards for code quality and testing
- Drive performance optimization across web platforms
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies
- Work cross-functionally with UX and design teams
- Define and implement scalable frontend systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain alignment with security and compliance standards
- Guide deployment and monitoring strategies
- Improve engineering workflows and tooling
- Promote best practices in software development
- Support incident response and system reliability
- Participate in technical planning sessions
- Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
- Lead debugging efforts for production issues
- Contribute to API design and integration
- Foster a culture of innovation and ownership
- Evaluate third-party libraries and dependencies
- Document technical decisions and system designs
- Drive adoption of modern web standards
- Coordinate with QA to ensure robust testing
- Support onboarding of new engineering team members
