Wellhub is hiring a Tech Lead | Backend | MEP to join our Marketing Analytics Platform (MEP) team. In this role, you will enable and maximize Marketing efforts through technology and product integrations, driving architecture decisions, developing services, and supporting systems to optimize marketing campaigns and data products.

What You'll Do

• Develop a vision for the Marketing Analytics Integration Ecosystem.
• Drive architecture decisions that impact the whole Marketing analytics platform development interactions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet product demands.
• Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and edge cases on a global scale.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in managing or technically leading a software engineering team.
• Expertise with at least two programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or Golang (the team uses mostly Golang).
• Expertise with SQL/NoSQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls.
• Solid experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, KAFKA, ActiveMQ.
• Versed in concepts such as DDD, SOLID, Design Patterns, distributed systems, and architecture.
• Experienced in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles.
• Strong communication skills: able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English and Portuguese.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
