Austin Health is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher – Educational Leader to inspire a love of learning and foster child development through intentional teaching. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with families and work with our leadership team to implement high-quality early learning programs, guided by our not-for-profit vision for children to have the best possible start in life.
What You'll Do
- Inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices.
- Build meaningful relationships with families so each child has a strong sense of belonging.
- Mentor and guide educational practices in your room.
- Work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs.
- Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
- Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
- Current Teachers Registration.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
