Inspired Education / Escola Eleva is looking for a dedicated Teacher to join our Ballito campus. You will adopt a holistic view of students, promoting their general progress and well-being while creating a positive learning environment that motivates them to achieve their full potential.
What You'll Do
- Plan, prepare, and present interesting and exciting Maths, Social Science, and Natural Science lessons.
- Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning.
- Behave professionally regarding punctuality, behavior, standards of work, and student homework.
- Evaluate, reflect on, and refine your teaching practice.
- Develop your teaching continuously through personal and school-wide professional development.
- Teach extra lessons, when required, on two afternoons per week.
- Produce high-standard resources for students.
- Respond to emails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours.
- Show loyalty to all facets of the school.
- Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the Head of School.
- Set and mark exams and all other forms of student evaluation.
- Write report comments.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as determined by the School Head or line manager.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with students in a school.
- Confidence with the use of ICT in teaching.
- A university degree in an appropriate subject.
- Certified Teaching Status.
- Appropriate right to work.
- SACE registered with current membership.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Ballito, South Africa.
