Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for U.S. entities
- Maintain precise accounting records for client accounts
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of financial statements
- Support audit processes with organized documentation
- Ensure compliance with IRS reporting requirements
- Track deductible expenses and tax credits
- Assist with estimated tax payment schedules
- Review client financial data for accuracy
- Coordinate with external U.S. tax advisors
- Manage deadlines for tax filings and extensions
- Monitor changes in U.S. tax legislation
- Provide data for year-end reporting
- Handle payroll tax reporting for U.S. operations
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Respond to client inquiries on tax matters
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Track fixed asset depreciation schedules
- Support multi-state tax compliance
- Organize digital tax files and backups
- Communicate with clients on recordkeeping needs
- Identify potential tax savings opportunities
- Follow internal review procedures
- Use accounting software for data entry and reporting
- Ensure timely submission of forms 1099 and W-2
- Maintain compliance with internal controls
