NRG was looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator

This role serves as a key operational partner within the Talent and Culture team, focused on maintaining accuracy and consistency across hiring systems and processes. The coordinator manages the full lifecycle of position setup and requisition management, ensuring all data reflects approved headcount, job architecture, reporting lines, and compensation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain position records in alignment with organizational structure, compensation bands, and approved staffing plans.
  • Create and update job requisitions with accurate details including location, title, level, and pay information.
  • Verify that requisition data matches the official position record, serving as the single source of truth.
  • Collaborate with recruiters, HR business partners, and workforce planning to resolve discrepancies before job postings or offer issuance.
  • Review offer approvals for designated business areas, validating pay against geographic differentials and internal guidelines.
  • Confirm alignment of offer components—such as title, FLSA status, manager, and start date—with approved requisitions and positions.
  • Escalate compensation exceptions or policy deviations to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Review all hire transactions to ensure employment data reflects approved offers and positions.
  • Validate critical fields including legal entity, cost center, job code, employment type, and reporting hierarchy.
  • Act as a final quality checkpoint before system finalization to uphold data integrity.
  • Identify patterns in data errors and contribute to process improvements and controls.
  • Work cross-functionally with TA Operations, HRIS, Compensation, and Finance teams to resolve system or data issues.
  • Support continuous enhancement of requisition workflows, position governance, and data accuracy initiatives.
  • Document procedures and help maintain standard operating practices.

Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2–4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HRIS, or Compensation. Experience with ATS and/or HRIS platforms—SAP SuccessFactors is strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a strong attention to detail and experience managing data-intensive processes.

Preferred: Background in position or headcount governance, data auditing, or high-volume, multi-location hiring environments.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hybrid model, with in-office presence required Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. Occasional flexibility in schedule may be needed to support critical hiring periods or organizational initiatives.

Technology Used

Primary tools include SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Excel.
