About the Role

Nedbank is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to provide talent sourcing and recruitment expertise for MiWay’s current and future talent needs. Your core mission will be to execute the strategic recruitment and Employment Equity plan, acting as a Pipeline Architect to forecast needs and build robust talent pools.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the HC team to determine talent pool requirements.
  • Proactively develop an internal and external talent database to increase recruitment responsiveness.
  • Manage the full recruitment process within defined SLAs.
  • Build and maintain talent pools within Sales and Business insurance & Brokers through proactive talent searches.
  • Provide external talent search and headhunting services.
  • Set up and maintain talent-sourcing channels, including social media (LinkedIn and TikTok) and search engines.
  • Coordinate role advertisements through the TA Administrator.
  • Leverage resources, including AI, to screen and attract high-caliber candidates via social and professional networking channels.
  • Conduct candidate screening and shortlisting.
  • Manage consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes that support the employer brand and create a positive candidate experience.
  • Guide business stakeholders to influence hiring decisions, ensuring selection of top talent and support of employment equity targets.
  • Contribute to offer negotiations by objectively determining candidates' salary expectations.
  • Provide regular feedback to stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Accurately maintain and update all recruitment documentation.
  • Compile and submit recruitment scorecards, monthly reports, and related metrics.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance talent attraction practices and processes.
  • Develop productive and collaborative relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Positively influence and participate in change initiatives.
  • Continuously develop your expertise in professional, industry, and legislative knowledge.
  • Contribute to innovation through the development and sharing of new ideas.
  • Help manage and maintain agency spending (recruitment agencies).
  • Identify solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Provide input into the risk identification process and communicate recommendations to the TA Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial and Organisation Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of bulk Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Strong administration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Recruitment agency exposure.
  • Recruitment experience in the insurance or Financial Services industry.
  • High-volume recruitment experience.
  • Experience recruiting via LinkedIn.
