ALDO Group is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to act as an architectural linchpin, ensuring our ecosystem remains fluid, scalable, and secure. You will own our API strategy and billing integrations, modernize infrastructure, guide system standards, and drive key technology initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of strategies to interface new third-party software with existing internal systems.
- Write, document, and maintain high-performance APIs and establish best practices for API versioning, security, and consumption.
- Oversee the technical logic and data integrity of billing platforms, ensuring seamless financial transactions and reporting.
- Mentor a small team of developers, conducting code reviews and providing architectural guidance.
- Act as the technical translator between department heads and the engineering team to define project scopes and timelines.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional hands-on programming experience in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP services, webhooks, and authentication protocols like OAuth2 and API Keys.
- Proven experience working with complex billing systems such as SAP.
- Ability to see the big picture of how data flows across an entire organization.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as Microsoft, AWS, Azure, VMware, Security+, or related credentials.
- Experience with the OutSystems low-code platform.
- Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting data mismatches during integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
