Avanci is seeking a Systems Analyst/Developer to play a key role in the smooth functioning of our Platform Operations team, which manages patent royalties globally. In this role, you will analyze business requirements and develop software solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
What You'll Do
- Collect business requirements through stakeholder meetings and analysis of existing documentation.
- Develop, code, test, and deploy solutions for the Microsoft Power Platform and Excel VBA.
- Adhere to the established IT architecture roadmap.
- Understand and provide feedback on technical specification documents.
- Collaborate with external vendors.
- Write and modify technical and user documentation.
- Train users and IT staff on standard and custom developed functionality.
- Support operational processes including software patches, upgrades, backup and restore, and business continuity.
- Support the IT Enterprise Architect in managing external vendors, including communicating technical specifications, quality assurance, and software deployment.
- Communicate project and task status to IT management.
- Adhere to all IT processes, policies, and procedures, including IT Security.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Proven success in developing complex business systems from requirement collection through to technical specification, development, testing, and training.
- 3+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Document Automation.
- Experience with Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Excel OfficeScript.
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with core business processes such as CRM, document management, and workflows.
- Experience in developing interfaces between enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of best practices, principles, and procedures related to MS Power Platform and MS D365.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively on all organizational levels, interpreting client business processes and requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere and balance multiple demands.
