CTI is hiring a Systems Administrator to join our team supporting operations within a classified Department of Defense and Intelligence Community environment. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of complex systems at our facility in Hawaii.
What You'll Do
- Procure assets and install/configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
- Configure and manage operating systems (Windows and Linux), applications, and network equipment.
- Build systems from 'bare metal' in alignment with accredited baselines.
- Ensure all systems and procedures adhere to company and government security policies.
- Perform regular security monitoring, daily backup operations, and file archival.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts as requested.
- Conduct ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures across multiple sites.
- Establish, document, and monitor the company’s cyber security program implementation plan.
- Maintain the Video Wall System and displays.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional systems engineering or system administration experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to configure, operate, and troubleshoot complex computing systems and network equipment.
- Strong understanding of DoD and IC security policies, authentication services, and secure protocols.
- Hands-on experience with IP networking, subnets, switches, and distributed authentication services.
- An active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- IAT Level I certification (Security+ and relevant OS/CE certification).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Hadoop, HBase/Accumulo, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with ACAS, Rancher, Grafana, and Cloud Security Gateway.
- Knowledge of DoD and IC network infrastructures.
- Experience supporting Joint IO Range or Defense Research and Engineering Network environments.
- Ability to create technical documentation, tutorials, and procedural instructions.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence, GitLab).
- Ability to maintain facility video distribution systems and displays.
- Experience performing remote or onsite break/fix support.
- A highly motivated, detail‑oriented approach with the ability to dynamically prioritize workloads.
