About the Role

Scalian is hiring a System Engineer to serve as the technical expert on IBM Rational DOORS. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, optimizing automation scripts, and guaranteeing the reliability of data exchange flows. You will support industrial clients in the automotive sector in managing and migrating their critical data.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve bugs related to module structure and enable iterative script execution.
  • Improve the conversion of DOORS tables to Rich Text and ensure data cleaning.
  • Manage the integration of attachments and the conversion of objects (WMF, PDF, Picture to OLE) while avoiding text truncation.
  • Guarantee the preservation of critical attributes (Legacy ID, Last Modified On & By) during processing.
  • Create and manage Snapshots for data pre-processing.
  • Secure ReqIF exports by ensuring all attribute values are included.
  • Enhance support for folders and headings.
  • Strengthen error handling across all DXL scripts.
  • Develop monitoring tools, particularly for displaying link counts in migration validation attributes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bac+5, State Engineer in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in DXL development and DOORS administration, ideally in an industrial context.
  • Proficient in French and English.
  • Expertise in DXL (mandatory).
  • Experience with IBM Rational DOORS, ReqIF, Git.
  • Advanced DXL scripting, OLE object management, and requirements database administration.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Java or Python is a plus.

This role requires an expert who has successfully managed complex ToW projects, supplier transitions, manufacturing ramp-up/down, and cross-site industrial transfers.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on ToW professional with a deep understanding of supply chain operations, risk management, industrialisation, and supplier performance governance.
