Tietoevry is looking for a System Analyst/Researcher 4G/5G to join our Tieto Tech Consulting team. In this role, you'll focus on research and analysis for telecommunications, driving systems studies, contributing to new features and standards, and supporting the deployment of innovative products.
What You'll Do
- Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G, focusing on Radio Resource Management (e.g., Scheduling, Link Adaptation, Beam Forming, Carrier Aggregation, Fast Cell Coordination) and the Radio Physical Layer.
- Work collaboratively on new features, simulations, and improvements with cross-functional development teams.
- Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
- Contribute to Innovation and IPR, including filing invention disclosures and patents.
- Support the deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks, understanding customer configurations and issues.
What We're Looking For
- A strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing.
- Good knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in the areas of L1, L2, Digital Signal Processing, and Radio Resource Management.
- An analytical mindset, high capacity, result orientation, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, due to an English-speaking work environment.
Nice to Have
- Professional experience in a similar position in the telecommunication area.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like: C, C++, and/or Java.
- Experience in systems analysis.
