Kyivstar is looking for a Support Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will focus on analyzing internal customer needs, improving IT system architecture, and ensuring the high reliability and performance of our chatbot and web applications. You'll be instrumental in driving effective solutions and system optimization.
What You'll Do
- Analyze needs of internal customers, interact with technical and business teams to build effective solutions
- Research and improve IT system architecture, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for performance and reliability optimization
- Ensure support for chatbot and web application operation, including business process logic, API integrations, and external services
- Form and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, regulations, and instructions
- Prepare requirements for monitoring, alerts, and service backup
- Analyze incidents, eliminate service failures, and provide quick and quality feedback
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure product stability and reliability
- Support API and solve problems with JSON/XML, REST, and WebSocket integrations
- Work with logs and metrics to identify causes of failures using tools like Kibana, Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus
What We're Looking For
- Experience in technical or product support (webapp/CRM) for 2+ years
- Confident understanding of web application principles, REST API, HTTP, and WebSocket protocols
- Experience working with Unix/Linux systems
- Understanding of microservice architecture basics and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, GCP, or private OpenStack clouds
- Practical experience administering DBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or Cassandra
- Experience configuring Nginx/HAProxy and load balancing
- Knowledge of monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Zabbix
- Skills working with Jira, Confluence, and technical documentation (preparation, review, updating)
- Understanding of data exchange formats: JSON, XML, and knowledge of SOAP/REST
- English language skills at the level of reading technical documentation
