TD SYNNEX seeks a Support Delivery Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support for our vendor clients. You will be the expert resource for field engineers and support personnel, troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring successful customer outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact to resolve technical support tickets for network technologies within contractual SLAs.
- Identify root causes and perform advanced analysis using network engineering principles and vendor guidelines.
- Continuously attend training sessions and obtain required vendor certifications.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to engineering teams.
- Participate in customer installations and training, providing guidance on highly technical products.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical support role.
- Some college education is required.
- Ability to execute instructions and seek clarification when needed.
- Proficiency with common office equipment and strong data entry skills.
- Capable of performing basic and complex mathematical calculations.
- Demonstrated complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English and other local/regional languages.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all levels of management.
- Skilled in negotiation and persuasively presenting ideas.
- Ability to understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
- Strong leadership qualities with a willingness to innovate and assert ideas.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills focused on task completion.
- Adaptability and resilience under pressure, especially during high workloads and tight deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining social, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using relevant computer systems and applications.
- Comfort with prolonged phone communication and maintaining situational awareness.
Nice to Have
- A background in network engineering or relevant work experience.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Net+, Sec+, or other industry-recognized certifications.
- Experience in creating and delivering formal presentations.
