TE Connectivity is looking for a Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering to oversee and coordinate a team of manufacturing engineering specialists. In this role, you will drive process validation, continuous improvement, and the development of technical competencies within the team.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing engineering team.
- Implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Validate new and existing processes, including creating and updating technical documentation like PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions.
- Manage engineering changes and ensure their correct implementation.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with areas such as quality, maintenance, and production to solve problems.
- Participate in internal and external audits as the technical representative of the area.
- Contribute to TEBITS.
- Develop technical competencies in the team through training and coaching.
- Develop and implement EHS strategies.
- Update layouts and machinery distribution.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Intermediate English language skills.
- Certification in statistical control.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of electrical testing.
- Knowledge of metal mechanics.
- Knowledge of handling measurement instruments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
