ALDO Group is hiring a Supervisor of Fiber Splicing to lead and supervise our splicing technicians within the Charlotte, NC market. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities and project progress, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and identifying project risks, all while supporting our commitment to building stronger solutions together.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization.
- Supervise day-to-day activities, project teams, and project progress.
- Establish administrative guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports.
- Identify and course-correct project issues and risks, and assist in developing response plans to resolve them.
- Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
- Supervise staff to ensure activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently, and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
- Perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Fiber Splicing or Telecom experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Open to flexible scheduling.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and last-minute changes.
- Valid driver’s license (class 'C' minimum).
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
- Routinely: occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces, work at heights and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
