At ALDO Group, we are looking for a Supervisor to oversee multiple crews performing underground telecommunications construction work. You will be responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of your teams, ensuring we meet our project goals while maintaining strong relationships with customers and inspectors.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and lead crews in meeting daily production goals and maintaining production records.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and special project requirements.
- Investigate all accident reports, including job damage, employee injury, and vehicle accidents.
- Take responsibility for all property owner complaints, personally investigating each one.
- Staff, train, and manage employee performance, including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Frequently interface with customers to discuss project needs and progress.
- Coordinate pre-construction meetings and maintain safety and production records.
- Complete 8 JSO’s including crew audits and ensure fleet gate checks are performed within 45 days.
- Attend all required safety meetings and company training sessions.
- Communicate equipment repair, maintenance, and rental needs to your direct manager.
What We're Looking For
- You are 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- A valid state driver's license (non-provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Ability to attend and pass all company-required training.
Nice to Have
- 5-10 years of experience in telecommunications or utility construction.
- Proven leadership experience guiding teams to produce high-quality results.
- Ability to understand and carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Skill in calculating figures, distances, proportions, percentages, and area.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, machine manuals, and process procedures.
- Willingness to work after hours, on weekends, or be on-call as needed.
Team & Environment
You will manage two to four crews consisting of crew leaders or foremen. The position exists within a Superintendent's structure and reports to a direct manager.
