Summit Funding is looking for a Mortgage Application Systems Developer II to contribute to the development and enhancement of our core lending systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the software that supports our mortgage operations.

What You'll Do

Develop, test, and maintain software applications for the mortgage lending process
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Identify and resolve system defects and performance bottlenecks
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a software developer, specifically with application systems
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
Ability to analyze complex business processes and design effective software solutions
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
