The Archdiocese of St. Louis is hiring Summer Camp Counselors to support our summer program at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School. In this role, you will help provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while actively modeling Christian values and supporting the mission of Catholic education.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and engage children during daily camp activities.
- Assist with games, crafts, outdoor play, and special activities.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment.
- Support campers with transitions, lunch, snacks, and restroom breaks as needed.
- Model respectful behavior and promote cooperation and inclusion.
- Communicate effectively with camp supervisors and fellow staff.
- Follow all school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Support the mission and values of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to actively supervise campers indoors and outdoors.
- A dependable, patient, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Nice to Have
- A high school diploma or current high school enrollment.
- Experience working with children.
- Being a practicing Catholic.
