EX Squared is looking for a Stream Restoration Engineer/Designer to join our team. In this role, you will apply your expertise to design and engineer restoration solutions for natural stream systems, all from a remote setting.
What You'll Do
- Design and model stream restoration projects, including habitat enhancement and channel stabilization
- Develop project plans, technical specifications, and construction documents
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support restoration designs
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, project managers, and clients
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, environmental, and client objectives
What We're Looking For
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven experience in stream restoration design, natural channel design, or related fluvial geomorphology work
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and modeling software
- Strong understanding of relevant environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate technical concepts clearly
