Join Jobgether, a mission-driven organization focused on sustainability, as our Strategic Sourcing Lead. In this remote role, you will lead sourcing activities to strengthen vendor relationships, optimize service efficiency, and drive cost savings. You'll manage projects end-to-end, ensuring service quality, financial accuracy, and timely issue resolution while contributing to our ESG initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead sourcing activities, bids, and awards for project and key account clients while ensuring margin growth and operational efficiency.
- Review hauler networks to identify cost and service improvements.
- Manage service requests, escalations, and vendor performance issues from initiation through resolution.
- Oversee projects from sourcing to billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and confirm project deliveries and removals.
- Coach and guide team members to strengthen service quality and responsiveness.
- Monitor work order queues and track progress against KPIs.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, vendor management, or operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- A proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while thriving in a collaborative team culture.
- Comfort with remote or hybrid work environments, with the ability to travel when required.
