Jobgether is looking for an IT Support Associate to be the first point of contact for technical issues in a hybrid workplace. You will provide first-level support, troubleshoot a variety of systems, and help support both in-office and remote employees. This role offers a chance to develop technical expertise in troubleshooting, system administration, and user support within a professional services environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on Windows-based systems.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices according to documentation.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and documentation of support tickets.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades, patches, and IT projects.
- Support Azure virtual desktops and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and firm-wide technology standards.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
- Comfort providing IT support for remote employees across multiple time zones.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to helping users.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field.
- Availability for occasional overtime and weekend hours during busy periods (Jan–Apr & Aug–Oct).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktops, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
- Experience in a professional services or accounting firm environment.
