At Grupo PiSA, we are seeking a Statistics Specialist to join our data modernization efforts. You will play a key role in integrating data, creating dashboards, building analytical models, and automating processes for cloud-based projects. Your work will support the management of databases within the Data Warehouse (DWH) and the development of new financial indicators, all aimed at providing accurate and timely information for market opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain data models on cloud platforms (AWS).
- Participate in the migration of on‑premise systems to the cloud.
- Support the construction of data pipelines on cloud platforms.
- Aid in the creation of dashboards and reports on cloud platforms.
- Document processes, models, and data flows.
- Identify and develop new opportunities (products) in conjunction with the commercial area of the Information and Statistics Directorate, aiming to increase profitability or develop the Capital and Derivatives Market.
- Provide customer service to understand their needs and leverage interactions for new product development.
- Lead priority definition through team coordination to manage daily activities and/or projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years working in data analysis or data engineering.
- Experience with cloud data solutions.
- Knowledge of AWS (Redshift, Athena).
- Knowledge of software tools for data analysis.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, Visual Basic, etc.).
- Knowledge of probability and statistics concepts, techniques, and tools.
- Knowledge of office tools: Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Language: English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with BI platform migration or modernization (desirable).
