Funded.club is hiring a Senior Freelance Startup Recruiter to manage a high-volume portfolio of 3-9 startup searches in parallel for venture-backed companies from pre-seed to Series C. This is a high-accountability role where you will own the end-to-end process, from sourcing to candidate management, focused solely on delivering outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of 3-9 startup searches concurrently.
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, outreach, screening, and candidate management.
- Provide structured weekly updates to drive momentum and maintain transparency.
- Operate independently within a proven, plug-and-play process framework.
- Work remotely, aligning with your own time zone.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of recruiting experience inside startup environments, with a strong preference for pre-seed to Series C stages.
- Proven track record of placing technical talent.
- Confidence in managing founder-level expectations.
- A preference for and expertise in headhunting and outbound sourcing strategies.
- Clear, compelling written and verbal communication skills.
- A disciplined approach to maintaining CRM/ATS hygiene.
- Deep understanding of which sourcing channels convert for different role types.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- A commitment to seeing every project through to completion.
