ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is hiring a Staffing Coordinator (ABA Recruiter) to manage recruitment for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy teams. Operating as an extension of our US-based clients, this role is remote within South Africa but follows EST business hours. We’re looking for a high-energy, organized individual who excels at connecting with people over the phone in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Post and manage job ads across multiple platforms, including sponsored posts
- Source ABA therapist candidates in targeted geographic areas across the state
- Conduct phone interviews and candidate screenings
- Staff new hires and re-staff existing employees as needed
- Collaborate closely with HR throughout the hiring and onboarding process
- Build knowledge of cities and regions to support accurate staffing decisions
- Maintain organized candidate pipelines using Smartsheet, Excel, or Google Sheets
- Solve staffing issues quickly and follow up proactively with candidates and internal teams
- Use creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified ABA therapists
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or experience in ABA environments
- Previous recruitment or staffing coordination experience
- Excellent communication skills, particularly for phone-based interactions
- Strong organizational and computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Enthusiastic, people-focused personality with strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to think creatively and ‘outside the box’ for candidate sourcing
- Eagerness to learn, strong follow-through, and attention to detail
- A fixed fibre line with minimum 25 Mbps upload/download speed and support for a wired Ethernet connection
- A reliable power backup solution to manage load shedding and outages
