Responsibilities
- Evaluate target companies' technical infrastructure and system architectures
- Lead technical assessments during merger and acquisition processes
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align integration plans
- Identify synergies between existing and acquired technologies
- Document system capabilities and limitations of acquisition targets
- Support due diligence with deep-dive analyses of software and hardware systems
- Translate technical findings into executive summaries for leadership
- Develop integration roadmaps for merging engineering operations
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards post-acquisition
- Work cross-functionally to resolve technical dependencies
- Advise on scalability and maintainability of acquired systems
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between teams during transitions
- Monitor integration milestones and technical deliverables
- Provide input on retention of key engineering personnel
- Assess risks related to technology stack compatibility
- Recommend architectural improvements for long-term stability
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams on technical aspects of deals
- Maintain documentation of integration progress and challenges
- Drive alignment between corporate strategy and engineering execution
- Support post-merger reviews and performance evaluations
