Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction across multiple engineering teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Drive end-to-end execution of complex, multi-team projects from concept through launch.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Clinical leadership to deliver impactful, measurable results.
- Partner with product managers and engineering leads to influence feature design and implementation approaches.
- Maintain architectural coherence and scalability across distributed teams and systems.
- Take full ownership of delivering complex initiatives from planning through deployment.
- Focus on both technical implementation and outcome measurement, including robust monitoring and analytics in Mixpanel.
- Translate ambiguous clinical and product challenges into clear technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Lead delivery of cross-cutting initiatives that span multiple product domains and services.
- Tackle the most critical and technically demanding projects, setting benchmarks for quality and collaboration.
- Design and refine system architecture for key product areas such as patient journeys and care coordination.
- Develop reusable APIs, data models, and integration patterns to accelerate development of clinical and member experiences.
- Improve system reliability and performance through SLOs, capacity planning, and resilient design practices.
- Build testability into system designs with comprehensive unit, functional, and contract testing strategies.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality event tracking and analytics instrumentation across all features using Mixpanel.
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams to create meaningful dashboards that reflect real user and clinical impact.
- Lead post-incident analysis and implement systemic fixes to prevent future outages.
- Mentor mid and senior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural guidance.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards for coding, architecture, and documentation practices.
- Promote a balanced, product-oriented mindset that values both excellence and iterative progress.
