Temporal Technologies is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, DevProd (Infrastructure Observability)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement observability solutions for infrastructure and services.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability into the development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation for observability tools and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and service performance.
  • Improve the reliability and scalability of infrastructure and services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of observability systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in observability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Work on improving the efficiency of the observability stack.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of observability systems.
  • Develop and implement automated testing for observability tools.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure observability systems are secure.
  • Work on improving the performance of observability tools.
  • Develop and implement dashboards for monitoring key metrics.
  • Ensure the scalability of observability systems to handle increasing data volumes.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines.
