Kong is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in the Developer Portal. You will be instrumental in building the tools and platform that empower developers to build, manage, and scale their APIs.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain the core components of the Developer Portal platform.
- Lead architectural decisions and drive technical strategy for the portal.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and deliver new platform capabilities.
- Mentor other engineers and advocate for engineering best practices.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the portal.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience as a senior or staff-level software engineer.
- Proven track record of designing and building complex, scalable web platforms or developer tools.
- Strong systems design and architectural skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team.
