Vanta is hiring a Staff Product Designer to shape the vision and execution for our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) product pillar. You'll drive design excellence in a complex and impactful area of our product, helping customers navigate compliance with clarity and confidence.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and execution of strategic projects that deliver substantial customer value and impact multiple departments.
- Conduct customer discovery to inform product strategy and help craft compelling narratives that support the vision and objectives.
- Identify and lead design-driven initiatives with organization-wide impact.
- Enhance the influence of the Design organization by working openly, sharing customer insights, and improving our ways of working.
- Mentor other designers, helping to refine concepts and elevate design quality.
- Contribute to and refine our design system to ensure it aligns with strategic goals while maintaining consistent, high-quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- 8-10+ years of experience delivering high-quality B2B SaaS products on large-scale projects.
- A proven track record of maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact.
- Independence in driving discovery processes and leveraging customer insights to inform product strategy.
- Skill in leading the design process from ambiguity to concept and execution for entire product areas.
- Strong ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and tackling complex problems.
- Proven success in driving design strategy, systemic thinking, and strong product sensibility.
- Excellent communication skills for clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling.
- A required portfolio showcasing consumer-grade craftsmanship and effective product solutions tailored to customer needs.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Director of Design within the GRC Product Pillar.
