About the Role
Lead design strategy for governance, risk, and compliance products, working closely with product managers and engineers to create user-centered solutions that simplify complex processes.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the design system for compliance-focused products
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points in regulatory workflows
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure design feasibility and fidelity
- Advocate for user needs during product planning and roadmap sessions
- Mentor junior designers through regular critiques and feedback
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear, usable interfaces
- Lead end-to-end design for major product initiatives
- Work across time zones with distributed teams
- Balance business goals with usability and accessibility standards
- Develop interaction patterns for data-heavy dashboards
- Present design concepts to cross-functional stakeholders
- Iterate on designs based on user testing and analytics
- Ensure consistency across web and mobile experiences
- Drive design innovation while maintaining technical constraints
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for security or compliance platforms
- Background in governance, risk, or audit software
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks

Compensation
$180,000 – $220,000 base salary, plus equity and benefits
