Remote (Global) Full-time

TheyDo is hiring a Staff Product Designer

About the Role

TheyDo is looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead bold design thinking across complex challenges and elevate our product to the next level. You'll define the vision and strategy for how teams turn journey data into insights, influence core product decisions, and drive a design-first approach across metrics, reporting, and data experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end design for data-focused initiatives across metrics, reporting, and insight visualizations.
  • Collaborate deeply with product and engineering leadership to set direction and ship cohesive experiences across multiple areas for the Data team.
  • Drive design from ambiguity to execution, navigating problem spaces that require deep systems thinking, breadth of creativity, and intuition for key alignment moments.
  • Work in all levels of fidelities, balancing speed with craft to learn what works through user insight and iteration.
  • Mentor and uplift other designers by providing clarity, coaching, and thoughtful critique.
  • Shape design culture by evolving the design system, refining collaboration processes, and contributing to an environment that amplifies strengths.

What We're Looking For

  • Thinks in systems and acts like a product owner, connecting user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and is energized by navigating complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Designs end-to-end, from broad experience architecture to micro-interactions.
  • Has deep design intuition, with a strong point of view on when to invent and when to rely on proven patterns.
  • Communicates with clarity, using storytelling, prototyping, and data to bring others along.
  • Lifts up others, seen as a go-to for unblocking ambiguity, elevating craft, and creating alignment.

Nice to Have

  • Energized by new AI tooling and eager to translate ideas into working prototypes using tools like Lovable, Vercel, Figma, etc.
  • Has led design in high-growth environments, ideally from Series B onward, and knows how to scale impact without increasing complexity.

Technical Stack

  • Figma
  • Lovable
  • Vercel
