About the Role
The recruiter will drive end-to-end hiring processes for technical roles, focusing on the semiconductor sector, by partnering with hiring managers and delivering a strong candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and engineering positions
- Develop sourcing strategies targeting semiconductor industry talent
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified engineering candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs
- Conduct candidate screening and coordinate interview logistics
- Manage applicant tracking system data and recruitment metrics
- Represent the company at career fairs and industry events
- Evaluate recruitment processes and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with HR teams on onboarding and integration
- Promote employer branding within the technology sector
- Use Boolean search techniques to identify passive candidates
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and hiring information
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring
- Stay current on semiconductor industry trends and talent markets
- Conduct market mapping for key technical roles
- Negotiate job offers and support candidate close rates
- Provide recruitment updates to stakeholders
- Drive time-to-fill and quality-of-hire improvements
- Manage external recruitment agencies when needed
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Experience in a global semiconductor company
- Knowledge of embedded systems or chip design roles
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language
- Experience with executive-level recruitment
- Prior work in a matrixed organization
- Exposure to M&A-related hiring integration
