Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for a Staff Officer to perform a wide range of functions requiring proficiency in office business processes, communications, and project coordination. You will provide direct support to leadership by managing daily operations, leading tasker responses, and ensuring the effective flow of information.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary action officer for office taskings using systems like N-CERTS, including initiating, assigning, and monitoring tasks, consolidating responses, and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
- Draft, review, and edit official correspondence, memoranda, weekly activity reports, briefings, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare special reports and summaries by selecting and synthesizing relevant information from various sources.
- Provide daily operational support to office leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and anticipating and preparing materials for conferences and briefings.
- Coordinate and support office staff meetings and governance forums, including preparing agendas, distributing materials, and tracking action items.
- Initiate and complete travel and conference requests using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Management and Execution Tracker (MET).
- Coordinate logistics for office moves and manage office supplies.
- Manage and maintain office records, SharePoint sites, and shared folders in compliance with agency policy.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), org charts, and recall rosters.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing office actions, meetings, and coordinating projects.
- Experience preparing and delivering briefings and writing official correspondence.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management field and 7+ years of experience as a staff officer or in administrative management, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NGA Central Electronic Requirements Tracking Systems (NCERTS), Defense Travel System (DTS), and Management Execution Tracker System (MET).
- Experience with the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS).
- Experience interfacing with different personalities and senior-level personnel within the agency and across the Intelligence Community.
- Data Transfer Officer (DTO) Certification.
