Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models with an emphasis on generative AI
- Collaborate with research teams to translate prototypes into production systems
- Optimize model performance and inference efficiency at scale
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate AI features into products
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI architectures for specific use cases
- Ensure models meet accuracy, latency, and reliability requirements
- Contribute to data strategy including collection, labeling, and pipeline design
- Monitor deployed models for performance degradation and concept drift
- Develop tools and frameworks to streamline ML workflows
- Stay current with advancements in generative AI and deep learning
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers
- Support ethical AI practices and model transparency
- Troubleshoot end-to-end ML system issues
- Participate in code reviews and system architecture planning
- Drive best practices in testing, deployment, and observability for ML
Nice to Have
- PhD in machine learning, computer science, or related discipline
- Publications or contributions in AI research venues
- Experience with transformer-based models and attention mechanisms
- Background in natural language processing or multimodal AI
- Open-source contributions to ML tools or frameworks
- Experience with model quantization, pruning, or distillation
- Knowledge of privacy-preserving ML techniques
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF)
- Experience building developer-facing AI tools
- Track record of shipping customer-facing AI products
