Seeq is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to play a critical role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our software platform. You will lead the design of complex systems and mentor engineers within a collaborative, team-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of complex software systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, guiding them in best practices.
- Drive innovation and spearhead the implementation of new technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate through pair programming and contribute to team acceleration.
- Review and provide actionable feedback on code.
- Actively engage with customers to understand feature rationale and pain points.
- Mentor colleagues and meet deadlines through effective planning and prioritization.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- A solid record of designing and building complex software systems.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Typescript.
- Expertise in building large React applications.
- A strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience working with databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Authorization to work in the country in which you reside.
