About the Role

Seeq is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to play a critical role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our software platform. You will lead the design of complex systems and mentor engineers within a collaborative, team-focused environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development of complex software systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, guiding them in best practices.
  • Drive innovation and spearhead the implementation of new technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate through pair programming and contribute to team acceleration.
  • Review and provide actionable feedback on code.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand feature rationale and pain points.
  • Mentor colleagues and meet deadlines through effective planning and prioritization.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in software development.
  • A solid record of designing and building complex software systems.
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Typescript.
  • Expertise in building large React applications.
  • A strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience working with databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Authorization to work in the country in which you reside.

  • $170,000 USD base salary plus bonus incentives. Salary range for US-based; local adjustments for other countries.
