Doppler is looking for a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer to own new features and projects from inception to completion. In this technical leadership role, you will design both frontend and backend architectures, promote secure engineering practices, and help shape Doppler's long-term vision for scalability.

What You'll Do

Build out features across frontend and backend services
Design, implement, and extend database models to support new features
Collaborate with product and design to provide feedback on features from a developer’s perspective
Approach everything you do from a security-first perspective
Lead technical architecture and help shape Doppler’s long-term vision
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
Champion engineering best practices and process improvements across the organization

What We're Looking For

8+ years of experience in full-stack development
Experience building frontend and backend web services in Node.js + React
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
A love for the craft with a curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things
Experience building features or products from inception to delivery

Nice to Have

Knowledge and passion for security-first engineering
Passion for helping grow development teams and improving processes
Experience deploying software with Kubernetes
Experience developing a large-scale monolith
Experience designing large-scale React apps
Experience or interest in learning Go (CLI, Terraform Provider, Kubernetes Operator)
Passion for technically leading and mentoring others
