We are looking for a Staff Fullstack Engineer to drive the technical approach, work breakdown, execution, and delivery of projects in one of our Platform teams. You will influence architecture, focus on performance & security, and advocate for best engineering practices within a remote-friendly environment based in Vienna, Austria.
Responsibilities
- Get to know your product development team and get familiar with our product, technologies, systems & architecture, processes and practices.
- Absorb our engineering culture, start coding and ramp-up quickly within the Adverity universe.
- Get to know the architecture and codebase inside-out.
- Support your product development team with deep code reviews, guiding them towards better system quality and engineering practices.
- Participate in shaping new features by getting your hands dirty in PoCs, breaking down technical scopes, and commencing work on team deliveries.
- Participate in strategic cross-product engineering initiatives and help product development teams towards pragmatic technical decisions based on limited context.
- Strive to constantly improve maintainability and reliability.
- Increase your impact beyond your product development team to the whole engineering team & beyond.
Requirements
- Fluency in Python and (preferably) the Django framework
- Experience managing large-scale production systems
- Building REST APIs
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as TypeScript
Preferred Qualifications
- Daily use of AI tools (e.g. coding copilots, LLM-based design assistants, automation agents)
- Ability to integrate AI reasoning and automation into workflows across coding, documentation, testing, and deployment
