Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain core frontend and backend systems using Vue, Nuxt, Tailwind, Node.js, Bun.js, Nitro, PHP, Laravel, Postgres, GraphQL, and Redis.
- Utilize AI platforms such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor to enhance coding efficiency, debugging, and documentation processes.
- Collaborate with design, editorial, research, and engineering teams to shape and deliver user-facing product features.
- Implement analytics, performance monitoring, and logging solutions to evaluate and refine system behavior.
- Take ownership of systems managing memberships, payment processing, and content access permissions.
- Guide architectural decisions for frontend and backend infrastructure while advocating strong engineering standards.
- Engage in agile planning, peer code reviews, and collaborative programming sessions.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, quality assurance tooling, and deployment automation workflows.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of full-stack engineering experience with proven impact on both client and server-side applications.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including Vue, Nuxt, Vuex, TailwindCSS, PWAs, SASS/SCSS, BEM, and responsive design principles.
- Backend expertise in Node.js with structured frameworks like NestJS, Nuxt/Nitro, Laravel, Postgres, GraphQL, and Redis or memcached.
- Strong experience with Git/GitHub and remote-first collaborative development workflows.
- Comfortable using Unix command line and DevOps tools such as Docker or Vagrant.
- Solid grasp of web analytics and performance tracking platforms.
- Hands-on experience integrating payment and subscription management systems.
- Familiarity with email service provider APIs and email lifecycle automation.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), or blockchain systems.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Domo.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding workflows using tools like Copilot, Codex, or Claude.
- Interest in financial markets, crypto culture, and the evolving digital economy.
