1Password is looking for a Staff Developer, Billing and Payments to build and evolve the systems that manage our global financial operations. You will ensure these critical services are robust, secure, and scalable for millions of users.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain billing, payments, and subscription management systems.
Lead technical decisions and architecture for complex financial workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Improve system scalability, resilience, and observability.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers.

What We're Looking For

Significant experience developing and operating high-scale, mission-critical backend systems.
Deep understanding of billing, payments, or e-commerce domain concepts.
Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from design to production.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
