Drive the creation and deployment of machine learning systems that identify fraud and assess financial risk, taking full responsibility from initial research through to scalable production solutions. You'll shape the technical direction of core products by designing models that make real-time decisions and evolve with emerging threats.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end development of fraud detection models, including data strategy, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Build foundational machine learning frameworks that power SentiLink’s growing portfolio of risk assessment tools.
- Investigate new fraud patterns and design innovative identity verification products to stay ahead of evolving risks.
- Deliver robust, production-grade code that supports real-time decisioning for enterprise partners.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to guide data acquisition, product roadmap decisions, and operational priorities across risk, marketing, and sales.
- Collaborate with engineering, data operations, and data sourcing teams to ensure reliable access to high-quality data.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience with a PhD or 8+ years with a Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Demonstrated success solving high-stakes business challenges using data science and machine learning.
- Strong ability to communicate technical results and project progress to executive stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in full-cycle data science work: defining objectives, setting success metrics, gaining alignment, building solutions, and delivering final outputs.
- Deep practical knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods, with the ability to rapidly prototype and refine models.
- Experience writing production code with testing and reliability standards.
- Highly detail-oriented with sound judgment for decisions that affect business outcomes.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and currently residing there.
