As a Staff Application Engineer, you will play a central role in enabling customers and internal teams to successfully adopt configurable semiconductor solutions. Your expertise in FPGA design and Verilog will support technical guidance, system-level development, and training delivery across global teams and partners.
What You'll Do
- Deliver technical trainings and hands-on support to customers, field application engineers, sales teams, and distributors during product integration
- Develop application circuits, system architectures, and reference designs using FPGA and GreenPAK technologies
- Design and implement hardware and software solutions, including firmware and test validation
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as application notes, design guides, and training materials
- Develop reusable IP blocks for inclusion in FPGA design libraries
- Collaborate with engineering teams in Zhubei and worldwide to shape product requirements and improve support tools
- Review customer designs and provide feedback on hardware, software, and system integration
- Identify recurring technical challenges and drive internal improvements in products and documentation
- Coach and mentor fellow application engineers in FPGA-specific design practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in FPGA design and development
- Strong working knowledge of Verilog for digital logic implementation
