Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries for content-related expenses
- Track and reconcile production cost accruals on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with legal and production teams to verify contract terms affecting payments
- Process and validate talent and vendor payments according to contractual agreements
- Support internal and external audits with timely documentation and explanations
- Monitor amortization schedules for content assets
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and forecasting reports
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in cost reporting promptly
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Coordinate with tax team on reporting implications of content spending
- Manage documentation for cost allocations across multiple platforms
- Review and approve invoices related to production and post-production
- Maintain up-to-date records for content delivery milestones
- Participate in process improvements for financial systems and workflows
- Support year-end closing activities for content portfolios
- Provide financial insights during production planning phases
