About the Role
The selected candidate will play a key role in the SAP S/4HANA transition by supporting accounting processes, validating data migration, and ensuring system configurations align with financial reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current accounting workflows for system integration readiness
- Support data conversion and validation during SAP migration
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams on system configuration
- Document accounting process changes due to system updates
- Ensure compliance with financial controls in the new system
- Assist in testing financial modules within SAP S/4HANA
- Identify discrepancies in legacy data and recommend corrections
- Prepare reconciliation reports post-system cutover
- Provide input on general ledger structure in the new environment
- Support month-end and year-end close activities during transition
- Track and resolve accounting-related system issues
- Train accounting staff on new SAP functionalities
- Maintain audit-ready documentation throughout the project
- Monitor data integrity between source systems and SAP
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for SAP use
- Evaluate master data setup for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in user acceptance testing scenarios
- Escalate complex accounting issues to project leads
- Ensure alignment with international financial reporting standards
- Support internal and external audit requests during implementation
- Review account reconciliations in the new system
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and finance users
- Track project milestones related to accounting deliverables
- Maintain version control of process documentation
- Contribute to post-go-live stabilization efforts
