What You'll Do
Guide research strategy to enhance clinical software used by physicians, identifying pain points and opportunities through direct user engagement. Design and execute studies that inform product evolution, from early concept testing to iterative usability evaluations. Translate complex user behaviors into clear insights that influence design direction and development priorities.
Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and run remote and in-person testing sessions to gather meaningful data. Synthesize findings into personas, journey maps, and actionable reports that align teams across product, design, and engineering. Share insights broadly to foster a research-informed culture and ensure user needs remain central to decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years in UX research with proven impact on digital product experiences
- Strong command of both qualitative and quantitative methods, selecting appropriate approaches based on project phase and goals
- Experience recruiting participants, managing schedules, and conducting usability tests via phone, online platforms, surveys, and focus groups
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with UX and product teams to define research needs
- Skilled at distilling data into strategic recommendations and communicating them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable operating in agile environments with minimal oversight, managing multiple projects under deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 20% across the U.S., including visits to local clinics for field research
- Openness to feedback, knowledge sharing, and contributing to team growth
