About the Role

This role involves leading system-level testing efforts using Hardware-in-the-Loop platforms to verify and validate embedded control systems. The engineer will develop test plans, automate test execution, and collaborate with development teams to ensure product reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test strategies for embedded systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop setups
  • Develop automated test scripts to validate control system functionality
  • Execute test cases and analyze results for system performance and compliance
  • Collaborate with software and systems teams to identify test requirements
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues across hardware and software interfaces
  • Document test procedures, results, and deviations
  • Maintain and configure HiL test environments
  • Validate system behavior under real-time conditions
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with safety and functional requirements
  • Support root cause analysis for defects found during testing
  • Integrate test frameworks with continuous integration pipelines
  • Monitor test environment health and performance
  • Contribute to test process improvements and best practices
  • Work with requirements management tools to trace test cases
  • Participate in design reviews to influence testability
  • Assess system changes for regression testing impact
  • Produce test reports for internal and external stakeholders
