About the Role
This role involves leading system-level testing efforts using Hardware-in-the-Loop platforms to verify and validate embedded control systems. The engineer will develop test plans, automate test execution, and collaborate with development teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test strategies for embedded systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop setups
- Develop automated test scripts to validate control system functionality
- Execute test cases and analyze results for system performance and compliance
- Collaborate with software and systems teams to identify test requirements
- Troubleshoot system-level issues across hardware and software interfaces
- Document test procedures, results, and deviations
- Maintain and configure HiL test environments
- Validate system behavior under real-time conditions
- Ensure test coverage aligns with safety and functional requirements
- Support root cause analysis for defects found during testing
- Integrate test frameworks with continuous integration pipelines
- Monitor test environment health and performance
- Contribute to test process improvements and best practices
- Work with requirements management tools to trace test cases
- Participate in design reviews to influence testability
- Assess system changes for regression testing impact
- Produce test reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for testing processes
- Manage version control for test assets
- Support validation across multiple development phases
